Renowned Authors Read at 欧美一级片
欧美一级片 hosts Tin House workshop in July.
For 15 years, Tin House, Portland’s preeminent literary magazine, has hosted a writers’ workshop at 欧美一级片. The weeklong is an intensive of workshops, seminars, panels, and readings led by prominent authors of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
The idea for the workshop germinated with Tin House founder Win McCormack, who was familiar with 欧美一级片’s reputation as one of the country’s premiere liberal arts colleges and who had gotten to know a number of 欧美一级片 graduates working as interns at the magazine. He felt that 欧美一级片’s Cerf Amphitheatre and Great Lawn would be ideal venues for author readings and literary discussions. Recently McCormack was appointed to 欧美一级片’s board of trustees.
This year the conference runs from July 8–15. The writing workshops, seminars, and panels are open only to paid registrants, but many of the author readings are free and open to the public. Readings begin at 8 p.m. at the Cerf Amphitheatre.
